I am getting ready to Zanio my car for the first time and I heard about the field crest cannon towel outlet website, so I went there and check for the white towels. Is white the best color to get or is any color ok? Also is there any other kind of towel that is suggested besides field crest cannon towels?
White, bath-size towels are what you need. Personally, I like the Cannon "Charisma" better than the Royal Velvet. It's quite a bit softer than the Royal Velvet, and leaves virtually no lint. Use only liquid detergent to wash your towels...no bleach or fabric softener. Either cut the ends off or remove the stitching from the ends. See the Zaino Web site at http://www.zainobros.com for all the info on towels.
So many Zaino users = So many detailing enthusiasts that hoard the white bath sized towels from Fieldcrest. :)
Don't let that make you buy the smaller sized towels though. Sal instructs us to use bath sized towels for a reason. Although Fieldcrest won't tell this to you, their smaller towels have some polyester in them. I think it has to do with the fact that smaller towels require a bit more durability. Only the bath-sized towels are guaranteed 100% cotton.
I plan to get black colored bath sized towels. I would think that the lint would be a lot less noticeable on my black car......especially the moonroof seal. You wouldn't believe how much lint I get there!
