Default An "Ooops" with Microfiber Towels

Long story cut short...my Cobra Lavender microfiber towels ended up in the dryer on low heat setting with a bounce sheet. When I found them, I took them out, rewashed in the machine them with DP microfiber cleaner and dried them again on low heat in the dryer. Is one cycle through the dryer with a bounce sheet enough to ruin the towels?

Thanks in advance for your opinions.

You should be fine. The dryer sheets release a chemical that reduces static and softens the towel, but it is not permanent. A wash should get rid of everything, a second wash would not be a bad idea just for your own peace of mind.

Wash again with micro-fiber detergent.

If you find they dont seem as absorbent as prior, consider a rewash and add some white vinegar in the rinse cycle. Should remove any residual softner from those sheets.

...and throw out all those "chemical relasing" bounce sheets! My mom used to use them on my clothes when I was a kid and I'd get horrific headeaches until we discovered the dryer sheets were the culprit.
