Default Glue removal: Best product

Ok, well when I purchased my ZR1 it had a clear bra on it already. To say the least, a horrible job. I have started to remove the clear bra. There is some glue residue left. Can anyone help and recommend a product that is paint safe that will remove the residue?

I use GooGone from Home Depot. Works great and will not harm the paint.

3M™ Adhesive Remover is a ready-to-use blend of safe petroleum solvents designed to remove adhesive deposits from exterior vehicle surfaces. To minimize the possibility of staining, do not apply in direct sunlight or onto a hot surface.

goo gone or WD-40 will work. let either one work for a minute or two. If it is a vertical service spary on a rag and hold against the glue. The product disolves the glue. Be sure to wash after and put on a new coat of your favourite wax or sealant. Good luck.

Make sure when you remove the film you heat it up first... getting it hot will help it lift easier and the adhesive will stay with the film. Pull up at a 90 degree angle from the paint instead of pulling back.

I'm for 3M. Used it to remove the left over residue after I pulled the rocker panels off and changed them. The answer is to let it soak. take your time and good luck. Goo-off or Goo-Be-Gone worked but not as good. IMHO. WD-40 seems to work pretty good on bugs on the front end.
