Default Anyone using Jax Wax

I tested it against Zaino Z2 polish--side by side and i have this to say----shine identical--using my fingers and going from the JW to the Z-the JW is much smoother--easy on and off--doing the car with Z-2 first followed by a thin coat of Jax--what a deep-rich-smooth-glass shine

I think the real test is time, wait a week after application then do a side by side- after the sun had done its thing. Rob-

I believe you should use a polish followed by wax---That is why i did Zaino2 followed by jax Wax--im sure it will feel the same after a month in the weather--its a great combo for an award-winning shine-

Yes. I am using the purple stuff after each wash. Easy to remove with micro fiber towels and gives a nice shine.

Over the years I've pretty much used all the waxes, and switching from the "Z" brand to the Jax Wax will be my last switch. If you have not used the "bug cleaner" try it also, it's fantastic! The last time I had waxed my C6 was almost 5 months ago, and it's my DD even thru the winter and I've made two round trips to Texas from NJ and one trip to BG without rewaxing. Then last week while at a new car dealer I was asked how often I wax the car, they were surprised to know it's been 5 months and numerous washings.

I bought mine at the 15th Anniversary event at BG and picked up a price sheet if anybody wants info on their products.

Yep--sure beats using 200.00 worth of Sal's build-up 15 layers to a shine BS--

Which one of these did you use? I use Zanios and have for years. Sounds interesting to try. Just want to make sure I use the correct product you mention.

Jax wax is full of fillers, and oils that contain no durabilty. These guys try and sell at local car shows by showing you can leave the wax residue in full sun all day long and still wipe clean. While is is true, wash it with a good soap and it all gets removed. If you like waxing your car weekly and like the idea of dust build up, and fillers hiding your paint issues..........this is a perfect wax for you. However, I believe Vette owners are much more discerning than that.

Cheers,
GREG

Can any other members share their feedback on Jax Wax?

I used Zaino for years. However, I was disappointed with the lack of durability of Zaino. I switched to Meguires NXT ( which had the same performance as Zaino), then switched to Collonite. I love the durability of Collonite (1 waxing lasts an entire year) and feel it's shine is almost as good as Zaino. My only complaint with Collonite is that it is difficult to remove.

How does Jax Wax compare to any of the waxes I mentioned?

A few years ago, I was at a car show when a nice guy in a Challenger tossed me a rag and asked me to help him finish waxing his car; he got there late. I was amazed how easily it went on and came off, and even more amazed at the shine it left behind. I asked him what it was and he said JaxWax.

Since then, the company has expanded to include virtually every exterior and interior product imaginable. I don't use anything else from any other company because so far, I haven't found anything that works better. A couple of other notable products are their wheel cleaner and bug zapper. I highly recommend them to anyone who is shopping around waxes. I haven't been disappointed.
