Default Washing and drying my C5

Could you seasoned Corvette owners provide some tips as to the best way to wash and dry while protecting the finish without scratches or swirls?

Same thing as ricknyc23 said!!! I use a leaf blower first because it gets most of the heavy water build up off, then I use a meguirs waffle drying towel and it does an outstanding job with no swirl or scratching.

Thanks. Already have two silver cars for daily driving. Love silver vettes, but figured it was time to try magnetic red. Love it.

Try this kit, I've used it for several years now, it is a great product. You wet the vehicle, using there special soap, soap it down, using a mite wipe down the soapy vehicle, rinse, then switch to ionize rinse, this remove hard elements in the water making it pure clean water that runs off and drys without leaving spots or strains.
Saves time and works great. Good luck.

I hand wash, or if being lazy I use a touchless drive through, then take her for a spirited highway run and 99% of the water just blows off.
The Rejex sealant makes the surface really slick

I use a self serve car wash, then take the car for a quick trip down the highway to blow the water off. Once home, I use a clean Absorber to finish wiping off any remaining water.
