Default How to clean/polish NPP?

I have a new 2013 GS and ordered the NPP exhaust What the best polish for these tips?

My other vettes had Corsa's and I used wheel wax and mothers wheel polish with great results. Same products and NPP tips are dull? Is this life with NPP or is there a better way to get them to shine?

great products. Always read the bottle to use a metal polish that works on the type of metal your polishing. You can also consider a wool ball on drill for stubborn areas or my favorite some 0000 brass wool.

This is what I use to polish all car metals (chrome, aluminum, etc.). It is a bit on the expensive side, but I still haven't found anything that works better. You can polish metals of virtually any age or condition and they will look good as new. Your NPP will never look better.

I should have also noted, some metal polishes like Flitz also add some protection benefits. Understanding what your using can pay off in additional benefits too. Others add a coat of Rejex or a metal sealant like Blackfire afterwards to keep things bright and clean for weeks.

Meguiars metal polish and ClearKote metal polish work real well and brighten up the NPP. Thats what I use on my NPP.

I use Flitz on my tips. I've used it on other things for many years and decided to try it on the tips a few years ago since I had it around. It really does a nice job.
The trick though, with whatever you decide to use, is to not let them get too dirty to begin with. If you keep up with them it only takes a few minutes to get them looking like new.

Just about anything. Since you are getting it new, you are ahead of the ballgame. The rest of us had to deal with cleaning off a couple years' of crud THEN we could polish them.

it indeed is easier to start with a fresh pallet, but these areas get filthy quick even with normal upkeep. Starting with a good polish and a good protectant will only make it easier indeed.
