Wolfgang Sealant 3.0-I like It
Here is a shot of my hood after I just did my '11 with Pinnacle Paint Cleansing Lotion followed by Wolfgang Paint Sealant 3.0, I am pretty happy with the results. I am not trying to sell it, just a happy customer.

Wow that is pretty impressive, I have been using Rejex but will have to give Wolfgang a try. Looks super.

I have used WG 3.0 for several years now. Great product.
Your hood looks awesome, looks like you spent some time on doing a two or three step polish before the WG sealer. Looks very nice.

Thanks for all the compliments. Just for clarification purposes, I will explain what I did. This is a 2011 that I bought new on 8/4/12 off the showroom floor. The car had never spent a single night anywhere else since it came off the truck. Hence, the paint was in great shape to begin with. I used one coat of Pinnacle Paint Cleansing Lotion followed by a single application of the Wolfgang Sealant 3.0. I couldn't be happier with the outcome and it was quite easy to work with. Thanks again, Jim.

Thanks, Drew. I did it by hand although I do have a PC7424. I think a couple of key points are to apply a thin coat and let it dry for a while. I applied it to the entire car and let it dry about an hour before I buffed it out. It will buff easily when it is dry. Good luck. Jim

A light thin coating is best. It should come off easily after about 30 minutes of drying (results my vary in highly humid areas). It does take some time to fully cure and 8-24 hours is a great choice. You dont neccessarily need to top with a wax, unless desired, as Wolfgang 3.0 was designed to mimic the look of a wax.

Another fan of 3.0, easy on easy off and nice shine to boot. I then follow up 24 hours later and then monthly with Wolfgang Fuzion Wax for an enhanced shine, another easy on easy off product, been using both for over 2 years now.

well got the Wolfgang 3.0 sealant on early (by hand application to be quiet)this morning, waited 30 minutes and microfiber towel buffed it off. WOW! It looks really good so far. Put it into the garage and will do a final buffing and then wax it tomorrow. Never used the Wolfgang before, most of my products are pinnicle but im impressed!

A sealant is a synthetic wax and can indeed a traditional wax which often contains carnauba. A sealant actually bonds to paint versus sitting on it and protects. You can find alot of great sealants like our Blackfire and Wolfgang Sealants. If you prefer a traditional wax, then products like Pinnacle, Dodo, and P21S will fit that lenses also.
