Default The secret to keeping your exhaust tips clean !

Since I joined this form , I've seen a lot of postings about the exhaust tips getting dirty , and how bad it looks and how hard they are to clean .
Well here is the secret to clean them , with no work at all.
Go to your kitchen , If you have a glass -ceramic cooktop .There is a cleaner called 'CERAMA BRYTE' . ''use it'' Take a paper towel apply cleaner , all the black will come off ,all stains will be removed .
Then to really make it really shine , apply a little more , let dry to a haze. and shine with a clean paper towel , believe me you won't believe the difference.

My tips were so hard to keep clean so I bought a tip polishing kit and now they look almost as good as chrome and wipe clean with no effort.

I wonder if spraying your tips with the new Amoral Wheel Protectant would keep them clean???

They get pretty hot . This stuff is made to clean your stove , a lot hotter than your tips.

Wonder no more. I sprayed it on my tips about four weeks ago when I did the wheels. They have stayed immaculate ever since.

Dumb question here...CERAMA BRYTE makes a cleaner specific for stainless steel but this thread is talking about the ceramic cooktop cleaner, right?

You know I tried that and had to work like a dog ,to just get them a little bit clean , But this way you just rub in on let dry and shine.
no work at all !

I just stay on 'em with microfiber. i tinkered with a few different metal polishes. a pea sized amount of semichrome worked the best for me.
