Default New wax for black cars and white cars

I saw it on TV commercial. I think it is made by Meguire's?
Has anyone tried this product and if so which color?
What were the results?

In another thread someone made the comment that you're actually waxing the clear coat. That's makes sense to me. So I wonder if the "color" wax doesn't work better for non clear coat finishes.

I've tried it, but honestly I can't say that I noticed any difference.

Will you discontinue to use this product (cost $$?) and go back to whatever you used to use?

Was wondering if it took out some of the swirls on a black car as it claims, swirls are hard to see on white

Like most people, I fell for the hype. I'm not saying it's a bad product, just that I didn't see any major improvement. If memory serves me correct it was around $15, which isn't bad. I have 5 or 6 different waxes in my garage, but the one I've been using that I really like is C-Magic. I don't wash my car or drive it in the rain, so durability isn't an issue.

If you are looking for waxes that are designed around different colors .... might want to look at Dodo Juice Waxes as another choice. There's even a kit to design your own wax !

I still have to use up the Zaino I have. I have switched to using Zaino AIO with the Zaino Clear Sealant vs. going through the whole 1,2,3,4,5 processs of Zaino

I've used the White wax. The only real difference between the white and black white is that the white wax has more cleaners. The additional cleaners basically remove some of the pollution spots that are more visible on lighter colored vehicles. I bought them with some crazy coupon so it was only $8 a piece. For that price, I would say it is a good wax. I do like that it appears not to attract dust like NXT does.

Hey LS... Bought a black 89 coupe. It really needed some TLC. Tried a lot of different products in the last three years. The black box kit as it's called. By Turtle Wax was the best so far. After using it I then put Rejex X on. Been getting a lot of compliments. Griots seems to work good too. Good luck with what ever you use. kc

Thanks. On my other car which is 25 years old I have been using Liquid Glass Polish since 1979 and it hid all scratches, swirls and blemishes on that car. It got banned for sale in California with this VOC thing.

live in So. Cal. Know about the restrictions. That's why I used what I did. Really covered and filled all scratches.

someone suggested they have an updated formula and still can be found around as desired. They also offered a "Legend" version for 100.00 per bottle.
