Default Liquid Glass

I know Liquid glass polish has been around a long time, but recently it seems it has been rediscovered. Several people at car shows and gatherings are using and getting great results with Liquid Glass.
Anyone know if it has been reformulated or does anyone use it, just looking for some opinions on it.

This was years ago, but a friend swore by Liquid Glass. It seems to me that technology has left the older products and formulations behind and products today are far superior.

If the makers of Liquid Glass have updated the product as well, more power to them. In the end, it's what the owner of the car thinks. If you try it and you're happy with the results, that's all that matters.

I haven't used LG in years but when I did I was pleased with the results. Lately I have been using RejeX and love the way the Vette looks. No reason to change.

I had heard it was changed when VOC regulations changed several years back. Obviously I have my choice of waxes, sealants, and coatings so I haven't tried it in many years. The closest options would be a cleaner sealant product, like Blackfire's Total Seal or Klasse AIO if looking for something similar in design and function.

It's not available in California.... so I assume it's not been "updated" :-)

I saw a review of some waxes recently and Liquid Glass got a low rating for longevity.

Well an update for a product that does not seem to generate much interest. I purchased a can of Liguid Glass and used it yesterday on my Vette.
It was as many other products easy on and very easy off.
The shine looks good, finish nice and smooth.
I do like the fact you can layer it, as for durability, not sure and really not much of an issue for me.
For me it was interesting using an "old school" product like Liguid Glass and really so far can not tell the difference from many of the newer products I have used.
Not saying it is better just sharing some thoughts.

A few years ago, I decided to take my Vette to a local guy that is a full time detailer and has been around for quite a while. To my surprise, he used Liquid Glass and swears by it. I think the car looks great although I don't have anything to compare it to.

Try that famous auction site ebay around $20.00 for a can.

If you click on a discussion link so you can see the threads in it (ie. Car detailing) on the top bar there's one that says forum tools. Click that and a drop down menu will have an option to start a new thread. Or there's a big button says that new thread, click that.

I've used many of the modern products with success. I keep coming back to LG, using the pre-cleaner once per year, a coat or two of the polish as time permits, their detail spray and car wash concentrate. The car wash product just makes me smile every time.

Rediscovered; via long-time users on forums talking about it. I went back to it after trying a few high-zoot zillion-dollar products. Good old Liquid Glass is good stuff
It's $23/can on Amazon. Not cheap but not bad.

A cheaper alternative is Nu Finish, like $8/bottle. It's not quite as easy to buff off and IMHO does not look quite as good; but 80% of the performance for 35% of the price is a smoking deal.
