Default Beautiful Black Z06 Detail.

Two step paint correction followed up with an Optimum Paint Coating.
I can only post one pic at a time. The first couple of pics will show how well the paint turned out after polishing and before the Coating was applied.

Thanks for the business Don S.

Optimum makes some great products, and when used correctly can provide stunning results. Congrats on a great outcome !! --their coating is also about the most durable offering to date, some suggest its semi-permanent.

I have a hard time getting my paint to move. What did you use for your polish and pad?

Oh, and the car looks amazing by the way!

If I might also chime in .... Megs (105, 205), Wolfgang (TSR and FG) and Menzerna (SIP and 085rd) are user friendly polishes and have been proven by professional and weekend detailer alike. Most use a random orbital buffer and a pad system depending on the painted surface shape.

If we can help, please call in to us.

To the original post, thank you for the kind words. We hope to see you at next years Detailfest as possible.

I did do some light wet sanding after I touched up a few rock chips on the front end. But as for the OP removal, it was not bad on this car but I have compounded the paint a few times over the years.

Owning a Black vette is almost like a full time job. But that being said nothing looks better than a black vette with a show car shine.
