I was able to give it a short try last night on my Silverado. I don't know that I'll use it on my Corvette because it's got a ceramic coating on it that I couldn't be happier with, but I think I will end up using the Chadwick's a LOT on my truck and on my wife's car. It was very easy to use, and left the finish slicker than I thought it would. I was impressed enough to order a gallon and a bottle of the tire dressing to go with the 35 ounce bottle I ordered the first time. On those two cars, I'm not as picky with the finish as I am on the Corvette.

I got around to trying the Chadwick's Tire Dressing the other day. My first impression was that it smells exactly like Poorboy's Natural Look Dressing. One is blue, one is purple. I'm not saying they're the same thing but they sure seem very similar.

Either way, works good but I don't expect it to have a lot of longevity.

Bought my first vette in Dec. and after getting it home and cleaning I've noticed scratches that are not deep, they don't go thru the clear coat. Do you need to "buff" these out or just use the Chadwick's?

I'm certain the only way to truly remove the scratches is to polish/buff them out. That of course also removes clearcoat down to the level of the scratches. Chadwicks will temporarily hide some minor scratches and swirls but would not remove them permanently.

Default Chadwick's worked for me

I just got my first Corvette a few months ago. The car is my DD and gets parked outside so gets dust, pollen, road dirt, etc. I've never been much for detailing cars (the local gas station car wash has always been good enough for me) but I decided to keep this car a little nicer, so I go over it once/twice a week with a detailer.

To see what detailer I want to use, I bought 3 to try:
Chadwick's
Meguiars Quick Detailer
Griot's Speedshine

Now that I've used up all 3 bottles, I figured it was a good time to post the results. This is how they worked out for me:

Griot's was clearly in 3rd place. It took a lot of buffing, or else it would leave a film, and didn't repel the water particularly well. I was relieved when I ran out of the Griot's.

Meguiar's was pretty good, but still had a tendency to leave a film. Less obvious than Griot's but would be show up at night under the right light.

Chadwick's was clearly the best. It never left a visible film, it really repels water, and as a side benefit it smells much better than the other products. I have ordered more bottles of it. The downsides are it costs a little more, and has to be ordered online (I don't think it is carried in stores).

I'm not obsessive about the polish - if the car looks clean and shiny, I'm happy. With that goal in mind, Chadwick's was easily the best of the three products.
