Default 12 coats of Zaino only lasted a month???

About a month ago I put 12 coats of Zaino on, and I'm already seeing signs of wear. For instance, water still beads, but if you put a towel on the wheel well, it won't slide off like it did. I am also getting a soapy haze during drying, and I use the Zaino wash. I'm not sure its soap, but I've never had this problem before. I don't know, I think I expected a little too much. Don't get me wrong, I like it, but I didn't expect there to be worrying about it a month later.
Anyone else having the cloudy film problem when drying  I have always used the same towel and laundry detergent! Just got the spray, so I'll try it after the next wash to see if it takes of the cloudy streaks.

If your getting a soapy haze you maybe using too much car wash, I have also see that happen if the cars surface is very warm. Over time you will lose some of the slick feel, but not your protection. My M5 and Grand Cherokee's sit out most of the year and they see about 2 coats of Zaino every 3-4 months, and never more than 6 coats a year, by the time they get recoated with Zaino the slickness is gone but they are still beading water very well. Do you use Z-6 after washes? Z-6 being a polymer product will give you added protection and depth of shine.

If you Z6 after washing, the "just polished" slickness comes right back.

I occasionally get streaks on the doors where water/soap runs out of the mirrors. Z6 fixes them also.

I am using about a cap and a half per bucket. I will try cutting back and see if that helps. Car is always cool when I wash it, but I know exactly was you mean, when the soapy water dries in the sun before rinsing. That is what mine looks like, but I rinse and dry right away in the shade.
I haven't used Z6 yet, although I just got it Friday, so I will try it next time. I'm not giving up yet, just a little

I depends on the size of the bucket. I use 1 capful per my 2.5 gallon bucket. I would also suggest following up with a quick coat of Z6 after every wash. I only have 2 coats on my pickup and after 8 months it is still smooth and slick. I do wash it once a week and apply a coat of Z6 on it after.

Its been 1 month and only 1 coat. Its still very smooth and shiny.

Best its ever looked.

I Z6 after washing and usually only "need" to Zaino every 3 months or so...if that often. But keep in mind that i park outside ALL the time...and drive the vette no matter the weather!

if oyu park your car outside...and its exposed to fog, dew, rain, dirt, etc....

then its zaino doesnt last as long. just like a wax wont last as long under these conditions.

also..do you dust your car daily??? it is VERY important for slickness

finally... Z6 after a wash is important for the slickness feel, but not neccessary for protection.

Zaino under harsh weather conditions will last around 3-4 months. also..putting too many coats at one time isnt worth it. spread your coats out over time. fresh zaino always looks a LOT better :)

Good luck

OK guys, here's the verdict. I took everyone's advise. I used 1/2 cap of wash in a 2 gal bucket, and dried it with no soapy streaks :yesnod: . Then used the spray (for the 1st time) and it was slick again. Thanks for the advise everyone, paint looks flawless again. I will spread out the coats for now on.
