Clay bar ???
I have a question for Adam's:
If the idea of the clay bar is to rub, while wet, the paint on my 67 to remove all particulate contaminates from the paint and to embed them into the clay, why - how come - the clay bar with the embedded junk doesn't scratch the paint and ruin it? I don't get it.

Good question.....as you clay gets dirty you keep folding it so you will have a clean piece of clay to work with. Also the Detail Spray keeps the clay lubed up so it will glide over your paint.
After it gets too dirty to fold and fine a clean spot it's time to get a new piece.
I just clayed a 64 Dodge that had overspray all over the top parts of the car, I was able to clay without any marring or damage to the paint.
If you want to know if your 67 needs clayed place your hand in a sandwich baggie and lightly run your hand over your paint.
