Yep, I still use it, although I have used other sealants, also. I really like Blackfire---goes on and comes off easy. I like to use Rejex on my wheels, as it is supposedly more heat-resistant than other sealants.

Sure I remember it. It was pretty popular back when the C6 first came out. There were two camps: The Rejex camp and the Zaino camp. I tried Rejex and then tried Zaino. Rejex was OK but nothing that special IMO. I then tried Zaino. I've tried most everything else as well. I still love the Zaino lineup.

What is the shelf life of Rejex room temperature in closet?
I have a big bottle of it after all of these years?

Does it really help repel brake dust?
If so best way to apply it?

I have been Zaino for the last 11 years from Z-2, Z-5, Z-6, Z-7, Z-8, AIO, ZCS and ZFX.

I think they say 2 years is the shelf life. I've had mine 3 or 4 and still use it on my wheels and seems to work ok. I think it does repel brake dust some and it seems to make the clean up easier. I just put it on after I've washed and dried the wheels no different than on your paint.

IMO Rejex doesn't have the same depth to it as Zaino and has a more plastic look to it. It does work good though and bugs wipe off very easily.

Good for bugs then maybe good for windshield. For front end bra cover Vinyl? Maybe maybe not.

Generally speaking, most sealants can be safely stored for several years when kept outside of high heat changes. (A garage is often NOT the best storage). As you offered a closet, dark and slightly cool would be a great choice. Try to shake well every once and a while.

I don't necessarily know if Rejex repels brake dust. Paint sealants don't use silicones and oils that can capture and hold brake dust. So it is best to seal or coat wheels, not wax them.

As with any sealant, thin is in. Apply it with a foam applicator in light motion and thin. Allow to dry, and buff off. If the finish can be kept out of water for a couple hours it will be fully cured and pretty darn durable.

Yes, I've used it on my windshield and it works well. One thing you may get is wiper blade chatter. One of our cars did it and one didn't. Not sure why as both had new blades. I looked and it looks like you can use Rejex on vinyl. This is from their website:

Can RejeX be used on the Paint Protection Clear Film products?
Yes. Protective films are very good for protecting paint from road debris and small rocks that can chip paint, but bugs and other road grime are still difficult to clean off these films. What's more, UV and the acids in contaminants such as bug splats will yellow protective films over time. Not only does RejeX makes the cleanup process much easier, it will help prevent protective films from yellowing. In fact, recent UV testing on RejeX by two major protective film and vinyl graphic manufacurers showed that RejeX's UV protection qualities are so good, it can increase the life of protective films and vinyl graphics by as much as 50%.

This is what they say about brake dust:

How about brake dust on wheels?
RejeX won't keep brake dust from accumulating over time, but it does make wheels much easier to clean. Usually a good high pressure spray of water is sufficient to knock off brake dust. Plus RejeX leaves a wicked shine on both chrome and alloy wheels.

I looked at the instructions on my bottle today. It said do not apply to any porous materials. Wouldn't a front end car bra which is vinyl be considered porus?

Rejex has good durability. That is one of the reasons I like it and still use it.

I have never used RejeX on Xpel, only 100% carnauba spray wax.

Rejex lasts for a long time. At least a year on inside parked cars that get driven say 1000 mi a year. 3-4 months on outside parked cars that are daily driven.
It would be nice if I could find something like Rejex that was easier to wipe off, but similarly long lasting. I only use it on light colors as I prefer other kinds of waxes for my black car.

At the end of the day though, the larger bottle of rejex is only $20.

i wish there was something similiar where you could just spray it on and do nothing after that.
