Can You Remove Swirl Marks on Polished Wheel ?
I have a polished wheel that developed some swirl marks when I wiped off some stubborn crud after I washed. Now I have some fine swirl marks in the clear coat. Is there any product that is safe to use on a clear coat wheel that will work ? Thanks.

If the wheel is clearcoated, you can treat it just as you would paint. So you would use a paint polish to help remove the swirls and you then can protect it by waxing, sealing, or coating. I would suggest using a machine as the clear-coat on most wheels is quite thick and durable.
It is pricey but a new tool from Rupes, Ibrid Nano, would be perfect for wheels ....

If you want to work by hand, try a quality scratch remover and see if that does the job for you.
Mothers California Gold Scratch Remover is excellent on wheel coatings.
Autogeek sells it, and I'll guarantee it. Email me if it doesn't work for you.
