paint uv protection
I hate to ask a non-vette question but I will anyway.
My brand new daily driver is a black pearl coat Ram
It has to remain in the Florida sun 24/7-365 (vette gets garage w/ wife's buick)....anyway. What product(s) do you recommend to protect my paint for the next several years ??
thank you

It all depends on what level of maintenance you want. In order of least to most wax's( carnuba based)-sealant's-coatings( being the longest lasting)
Even with a coating it's a great idea to use a product to "boost" the coating and add to the longevity. Typical is a year. There are many new and easy to apply coatings Optimums GlossCoat-Wolfgang Uber-Gyeon Mohs to name a few. Before any is applied you want to properly prep the paint as you don't want defects trapped under the coating. Go to Autogeek's forum and poke around. Lots of useful info on products-techniques and general info
