Default How do you keep your BLACK wheels SHINY?

What do you guys use to keep those black wheels shiny? Im looking for something thats EASY to apply and take off but is effective in getting the SHINE back on the wheels. Again, I stress EASY like some sort of spray and wipe application.

Thanks!

Adams Deep Wheel Cleaner..Spray on a dry wheel and wait till it turns purple and starts running off the tire ...then Hose off and wipe dry. EZ PZ!

Fast forward to about the 40 second mark

Best of MANY that I've tried, by a long shot. Buy it in bulk.

Add to that a mist of Adams detailing spray while still wet, then either dry with a master blaster or towel dry.

You'll get a dusting of rush dust from the rotors on the first drive, wipe that off with a dry towel ASAP.

I swapped out the pads in the first 100 miles btw with Carbotech, made a huge difference in reducing dust and they bite well. Not the cheapest, but I like made in america over made in china.

I'm not sure why any wheel cleaner is needed unless you're driving a lot of miles in between washes. I have the brushes but after I wash the car I just use some of the car shampoo in the bucket and wash the wheels, comes up like new.

I wash every couple hundred miles at most though...

Just car soap and water works well for me after a good coat of wax, or equivalent.

I have Carbon Ceramic brakes and I wash the car and then use the rest of the car wash soap to clean the wheels with some wheel brushes and a old microfiber towel and then I dry the rims off and they look shiny.

Once you clean your wheels with the Wheel Cleaner you can apply our new Ceramic Wheel coating to keep them protected and shiny.

Adam's wheel cleaner stinks. I can smell it a week later. It does a good job cleaning the wheels but also discolors the tires so you have to then work on the tires to remove the discolored spots.

As far as shiny tires, I hate shiny tires. Looks so artificial. I like tires to look clean and natural. I just use some rubber cleaner for a nice look.

That's a good question. I don't think anything that looks like that should be anywhere near CC rotors.

Just clean the wheels frequently and you will not need any chemical cleaners or use them very sparingly if needed. Keep 'em clean and waxed or sealed and they will be very easy to maintain. There are numerous great products out there for wheel maintenance.

I also have cc rotors and dont like the idea of spaying chemicals over them. I bought a flat chenille micro fiber at home depot, it is about 16'' long and works perfect (5$) It is sold to clean ceiling fans, before I was using a long paint stir stick (for the 5 galons) wrap with a micro fiber towel, work good to. Never used special product, just car soap and water. I think the secret is to clean them often to prevent build up

part number is 204326091
