mircrofiber cloths
I have a new super black car and I want to maintain the color and shine. WHat is the best microfiber cloth to use on my vehicle for cleaning, polishing, and waxing?

Check out the Rag Company. Their Everest 1100 GSM 16X16 Ultra Plush, borderless microfibers are the best I have found.

Ronk, thanks for the recommendation. However, you know that your car always looks amazing and it makes some of us want to throw-in-the towel, not buy more! JK, keep up the great results and valuable input.

Hard to beat the 36 pack Costco sells for $15. 16x16 inches. Fantastic for cleaning and removing wax. Only downfall is they are not super absorbent.
Great for polishing wheels. And for the price you can toss them without guilt if they get to dirty.

Lots of great suggestions for MF towels. As an owner of three black vehicles, I would suggest, what you use with those MF towels, for day to day maintenance is more critical. Good MF towels are relatively easy to come by - but, IMHO, it's the products we use and how we use them that keeps our cars looking as we intend.
The other observation I would make, you will likely own a small army of towels - different sizes and weights for different tasks. That said, anything that touches tires/wheels should never touch paint - even if washed. No way to assure all brake dust, etc. comes out of those during wash and the last thing you want to do is accidentally add scratches by using a "clean" towel, when in fact, it may have contaminants that are small enough not to see, but big enough to harm your clear coat. I love the fact that most of the best MF towel providers have a great range of colors, making this kind of separation easy to accomplish and keep straight.

I have discovered that MF towels don't last forever. After a few uses and washings, they aren't as soft. I then rotate those to wheels. I agree with Midnight08, about segregating the cloths to specific uses.
Costco has a new set of MF cloths, next to the original yellow. These were 50+ to a pack, and also inexpensive.
Also, remember that the first thing you want to do with a MF cloth is remove the label (scratches).
