Detailed my C5Z!
Hello all,
Just thought I would use this space to showcase my c5z that was freshly detailed in an effort to remove some very light swirls from the previous owner and to also make it look good for the summer.
My process was:
-Remove all the old wax/polish/sealants, etc.
-Dry the car completely
-Clay bar
Wash the car again to remove any lose contaminants not picked up by the clay.
- Applied Wolfgang's Paintwork Polish Enhancer, then buffed off.
-Waxed with Adam's Americana wax that I received in a Mystery Box (Score!)
This was my first time using the polish and wax, and I am really impressed with both products. The Americana wax was easy to put on and remove, and the polish really made the car pop!
I am looking for any type of feedback, and if you would like to make suggestions feel free.
Roof Reflection shot.
I loved this picture because you can see my dad's new C7 - I detailed that the following day, using the same products.
My dad decided to drip some water on the car to see what would happen, so after most of the water ran off I took a picture of what was left.

I have a D/A but did not use it for this detailing session. I did everything by hand. The car was small enough for me to not burn out my shoulder, so I opted to do it by hand.
The Dual Action Orbitals move in a way that makes it very hard to mess up the paint, and there are countless videos on how to operate it. When I detail my 08 Silverado, I definitely use the D/A - makes the job so much quicker.
Important; I will definitely take you on that! You just gotta come to me!
02BlownZ06; Your car is awesome already, detailing it would put it on the next level for sure!
