Car shows are usually won and lost the garage, not on the show field. Another thing to remember is: "The best cars don't always win". Prep the car the best you can and go for it.

Your heart may not be in it, but your Vette sure is by the looks of it. Awesome looking as always.

Go find the youngest owner at the show and strike up a conversation. Their enthusiasm will lift you. Many times they may feel intimidated and feel their Corvette is not nice enough. A little pat on the back from a veteran owner can make a big impression.

The cleanest cars never win, just the ones people think are the "coolest" and most rare.

Didn't enter the state show this year. One of the reasons was getting beat by someone that gets their car done professionally. I get the there is no stipulation but difficult competing against a pro, especially when you have daily driver is difficult at best.

Ron your car looks amazing as usual.

I've found this to be true at the many shows I attend each year. If you have two equally clean cars but one has gaudy chrome add ons, the chrome car always wins!
