Finish Kare 425
Been using Z6 for a while and am wondering how Finish Kare compares. It supposed to have some anti-static compounds to it. Anyone have experience with the two and can compare?

Can not compare but I used FK425 for awhile and like it.
My problem is I use an acrylic sealant and like to use a acrylic detail spray to fortify the sealant. This can not be done on top of the FK425.
The car looks a bit more shinny with the FK425 but in the end I'd rather have the added protection.
Otherwise I have to strip off the FK425 prior to adding more acrylic.

I used to use the Zaino Z6 detailer spray which I thought was an excellent product, but the shipping is so high on Zaino products, that I just stopped buying them.
Then I switched to Meguiars Ultimate detailer spray. Maybe not quite a good as the Zaino, but still a good slippery feeling shine.
Well, I just ran out of the Meguiars detailer, so I just ordered a spray bottle of the Finish Kare 425 Extra Slick Final Body Shine from eBay. Haven't recieved it yet .... I am hoping it works good.
31 oz spray bottle $13.70 + $4.49 shipping = $18.19

Ordered a gallon and gave it a try. Will need more time to tell but so far it seems ok. Streaks a little more than Z6 it seems so I may cut it with a little distilled water. Shine seems to be decent.

Zanio is good product but if you only need one or two bottles of something the flat rate shipping is a little tough to justify. When buying multiple items it's not so bad. The gallon of FK I purchased on Amazon for $30 plus $6 shipping.

Have tried this a few times now and hate it. It streaks like crazy. I tried cutting it with distilled water and still streaks. Back to Zaino Z6 for me. I'll have to find a use for this gallon of FK somewhere

a.) Are you using new micro-fiber towels or old ones......?
b.) How much product are you applying....?
c.) Applying in the sun or in a cool garage......?
Is this an outdoor car or garage kept....?

a.) Not old but not new either. Same micro-fiber I use with Z6 and have no issues.
b.) No more or less than any other product I've used. Two sprays on half the hood. Once again no more or less than I do with any other product I've used.
c.) Applied in the garage. All my cars are garage kept.

Also recently tried this and I am impressed so far. Lots of gloss and smells great too.

FK425 a simple spray on shine product, are you applying it over a wax or paint sealant....?
There is nothing in 425 that cases streaking......

I have used numerious different brands of spray detailers. Just use them between wax jobs to keep the shine going a little longer.
I just ran out of the Meguiars Ultimate detailer which works real good. The Zaino Z-6 Enhancer Spray also does a good job.
Now I just tried the FK425 .... Works just like the rest of the stuff ... Does a great job.
I can't understand how someone would get streaks from the FK425. It's just like the rest of the "detailer" sprays (or whatever you want to call them) ... spray on a nice clean car and wipe off ... easy peasy !
Again, keeps a nice wax job just looking good for a longer period of time.
