Wax or Polish Suggestion with no edge residue
I have a blade silver 2017 with carbon flash dual stripes. At this point I prefer to just use a standard wax with some cleaning/polishing ability and a lot of shine. The waxes I have used in the past all leave a visible build up of wax along the edges of the stripes. It is about impossible to remove without damaging the stripes.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Try Zaino Clear Sealant topped with Z8 Grande Finale. Zero residue, requires no buffing and gives a wet looking shine.

I took delivery of my 2017 GS Blade Silver about 1 1/2 months ago. I when I got it home I washed ,clay , polished, used Blackfire sealant, then two coats of Blackfire Midnight Sun wax. I have been getting tons of complements. I have been using Blackfire products for years on my Torched 04. My 17 has Carbon Flash stinger hood stripe . I just went and checked stinger hood area and I don't see any residue by edges. I even had my cheater glasses on. Thinking that sealant most likely covered edge of stinger then wax just went over top with no edge to stick too. I'm not sure if you just used wax if that might cause residue to stick to edges. I did pay extra attention to edge of clear film protector on car when wiping off as that seamed a little thicker than Stinger hood decal and a better chance residue might stick there. I can't say that if you just use the wax that there won't be a build up on edges all I can say is the way I did it I don't see any residue. Enjoy your 17 ! Dave
I did polish , sealant, wax, by hand . Didn't want to risk polisher.

A lot of the old products will leave polish residue on the edges of vinyl stripes and many other cracks and crevices on the car.
In terms of pure polishes, I've used several of the modern products recently, and have found three that leave little or no residue behind: Menzerna 3500 and Menzerna 3800 which are greyish/dark in color coming out of the bottle which may account for some of the effect. My current favorite is the Sonax 3/6 and 4/6 products which are white coming out of the bottle and surprisingly leave NO residue behind on any edges or crevices.
Haven't found any pure waxes yet that won't leave some residue behind on the edge of a stripe. I used to mask the edges with painter's tape prior to waxing. Have pretty much given up on waxes and gone to the retail versions of coatings.

I agree with the Zaino Clear Seal. It is a perfectly clear spray sealant that also dries clear. After cleaning and prepping the area spray the Clear Seal onto a good clean MF towel and wipe it on and then it just dries clear. Sometime I'll give it all a wipe down afterwards but typically is not visible at all once dry.

Try Top Coat F11. I was a die-hard Zaino fan and used it religiously on my '91 Callaway and '01 convertible.
Top Coat provides a much better shine and absolutely nothing along the stripes on my 2013 60th Anniversary Collector's Edition.

The shine really can't be appreciated in this photo as the clouds were out when it was taken. You can get an idea of what the product does from the reflection on the front splitter.

If you are asking me, I hand polish my Vette. I have a DA polisher which I use on our other vehicles. I prefer to do the Vette by hand. I just recently detailed it finishing with Liquid Glass and am quite happy with the results. On application as soon as I covered an area of the edge of the stripe, I wiped the edge with a clean area of my applicator. this prevented almost all of the build up on the stripes.

From someone who's used nearly everything out there on hundreds of corvettes, for what you are looking for, CarPro Reload will deliver exactly what you want, and likely give more gloss as well. SUPER easy to do and its very durable.
