I am very familiar with coatings, waxes, clay bar etc. What I am looking for is a spray on wax that you wipe off similar to a detail spray. One that does offer a nice shine and has a bit of durability.

Have to go with Zaino's Clear Seal. As a professional detailer, the magic it performs on paint is simply amazing.
It is much more than a protectant/gives a decent shine. It takes total advantage of what the paint manufacturer is trying to achieve. On metallic's it makes the metal flake POP, on Pearls, it brings out the pearl essence and simply gives it an incredible look.
I have yet to find anything that rival's it.

The shine is only as good as the surface prep. At the bare minimum clay bar the surface first. A full paint correction is the best way to achieve a great shine.

Speed Demon from Surf City is the best i have found.

Meguiars D156 Synthetic X-press Spray Wax, have been using this on paint, glass and leather. Very pleased so far.
