Default C6 door panels, plastic bits

I have used nothing other than microfiber towels dipped in warm water to keep the interior plastic bits clean. Is there a mild product to apply as a protectant? I presume the days of applying Armour All have passed into history.

A lot of guys like Aerospace 303, it has a muted finish. Personally I like Meguiars Supreme Shine. Has a nice shine but doesn't have a greasy feel like their Ultimate Shine.

I bought this product last week and just finished using it. It seems to leave the plastic clean but sort of splotchy in spots. Ive followed the video and the instructions so Im somewhat confused. Im not a newbie when it comes to detailing🤔

you may need to apply a second time as some of it may have been absorbed into the material........... that should even it out and make it an even low sheen matte finish.................

also, how it was cleaned prior may also have impacted the initial application................

and I am not a detailing novice either.....................

Thank you for the advice. All preperations were preformed. I will try a second coat though. Today I discussed my problem with others who show there cars alot and Im not the only one who is not happy but no one mentioned a 2nd coat so thanks again for that. Final show of the year tomorrow I will inform you how I did 👍

Good luck at the show..........

also forgot to mention that if you spray it onto a clean microfiber towel and wipe the surfaces it may perform better too.............

Tried that first after the prep. Thanks for your input and best wishes. Hope the weather holds. Calling for Fog. Gonna screw everything up. It does hold the pollen and tree stuff down though.

Back from the show. It was snotty for the morning but it stopped around 10 ish. . Had to redo the exterior, inside and engine remained ok. I did redo the door panels like you reccommended and I came in with a "Best in Division" I am in modified division. Which means I came in first in all generations in the modified class. Thanks again
