Finally a solution to washing my car in the sun
Due to how our house sits up on a hill, I have very little time after the sun rises and before it sets to give Cersei a proper bath without risking water spots. Today was a perfect day to test this against what I estimate to be 20-30 mph winds. Right now I have 30 lb. sandbags strapped to the canopy legs. I have a set of 40 lb. weights that'll be here tomorrow, so 70 lbs. total weight on each leg for good measure. The bricks are there to measure any movement. So far it hasn't moved one bit.
The side wall velcros onto the top and side rails of the canopy. This setup allows me to do a full two bucket wash with a pressure washer (and clay/nanoskin mitt before pulling her into the garage for a polish and sealant) in between rinse-less washes pretty much any time during the day. I'll likely use it for beach trips as well.
Hopefully this is useful to others that face a similar first world problem.

My solution to the water spot problem is in the link below. I don't even have to dry any more and there are absolutely no spots. I don't know how I lived without it and wash everything with it now including a 45' diesel pusher motorcoach, no drying and no spots.

^^^ Yeah, that's on my list too. We have some pretty shitty hard water.

I did notice the disclaimer about depends on quality of input water. I'm on a well with an 18 hardness factor. I do run the hose from laundry room out kitchen window (20') to the drive to wash the car since house is on a water softener.

We have horrible hard water heavily laden with minerals here in SoCal so I use a deionizing filtering system and heated air from a Master Blaster. I can actually let the car air-dry with a nearly perfect finish due to the deionized water.

Can't you wash the car in the garage? I use a wide fan spray attachment so water doesn't spray everywhere and enjoy the garage shade. The floor needs rinsed off anyway.
