XPEL is one of the favourites on here, research the coatings before doing anything. There is another thread about scratches in a coating close to your thread... I love the XPEL.

Best way to protect you finish between a coating or a film is the film. Suntek and Xpel are the top two most will tell you.
Films will physically protect your paint, coatings will not protect your paint from rock chips and such...

IMO XPEL is the best. It stays smooth as a baby's butt and does not discolor. Just keep a fresh coat of synthetic wax on it and it will serve you well. This stuff is great!

Yes - I've also learned to keep your distance from the guy in front and to stay away from trucks. And also to stay away from wackos who see you in a vette - esp. a brand new one - and will cut in front of you without signalling out of jealousy or to prove to themselves they can go fast or whatever crazy reason. They are out there and that is a whole other issue.

I had mine done my Ceramic Pro, about 6 months ago. So far, I really like it. They were the closest, known, choice here in Bradenton/Sarasota, FL.
Anyone else use Ceramic Pro?

Only downfall with PPF is when larger objects penetrate the film there is no buffing it out. It's better than not having it though. I have a couple holes on the front of mine that my eye always focuses on. I'm probably going to use touch up paint to mask them. I think it has better gloss than the factory paint itself.
