Default Detail Spray, is there really a difference?

I have Meguair's, Mothers, and Adams Detail sprays. They all seem pretty much the same except for the price.

Just wanted to hear some thoughts.

someone here suggested meguires ''ultimate fast finish'' and i find it more durable than just ''q d'''s . you can also dilute some rinseless car washes and use them as cheaper quick detailers . i also like zaino z8 . . peace

Pinnacle Crystal Mist is as good as it gets. I also like Zaino Z6 and Z8.
There is a difference.

My fav. is Kenotek. I've used them all and like it much better. Read reviews on Amazon or Detailers Domain.

My favorite is currently Slick Mist. Been using it for about 3 years now. I try 2-3 different brands a year because the companies are always pitching something "new and improved".

I also liked BLACKFIRE Midnight Sun spray. But it cost at least twice as much as Slick Mist so I quit buying it.

Have 2 bottles of Adam's H20 Guard & Gloss being shipped to me. I would also like to try a bottle of Hydrosilex Recharge in the near future.

ONR says their Wash n Shine rinseless product can be diluted to make a detail spray as per their directions.

I agree Meguiars Ultimate Fast Finish is a good product and very easy to boot. I don't believe it is intended to be used as a detail spray, in the sense that you would use a typical detail spray to remove dust, fingerprints, bird droppings etc. It is intended to be used on a clean surface to add protection which is more durable than a coat of wax. Meguiars claims the product in the lab will stand up to 100 washes using a pH-balanced car wash products and longevity up to a year.

Leno’s Garage Detailer and/or Chemical Guys V07 are the best I have ever used and I have used literally dozens and dozens over the years.

H20 is an amazing product. If used per instructions you'll notice amazing results. One thing I did notice is it tends to clog rags and makes the rag lose it's softness. Using their Ceramic Boost on top of H20 will enhance the finish even more.

One of the purposes of a detailing spray is for removing light dust from the finish.

I've yet to find anything I like better than Adam's H20. It brings paint to another level after a routine wash. Used it on my other car yesterday and then topped off with their Ceramic Boost spray. It only works on paint in good corrected condition.

Corvettes of Houston bottles something with their label on it. Not sure what it is, but it works pretty damn good.

I currently have Adams Detail Spray, Chemical Guys V7 Quick Detailer and Griott's Garage Best in Show Detailer on my cart in the garage. After using all 3 products several times, I have come to the conclusion that all 3 products perform about the same. They are all effective at removing dust and fingerprints and also leaving some shine behind on the paint. All of them go on and come off with the same ease. None of them "stand out" as better than the other as far as performance goes (in my opinion). All 3 products have a pleasant but different smell to them.

Chemical Guys V7-16 0z $17.99 (Chemical Guys Web Site) Should NOT be used in direct sun
Adams Quick Detailer-16 oz $12.99 (Adams Polishes Web Site) Can be used while drying vehicle
Griotts Garage Best In Show Detaier-16 oz $12.99 (Griots Garage Web Site and available in local stores like Pep Boys) Can be used in direct sunlight

Very pleased.

I use Meguiar's standard detail spray and add 1/4 cup of the Klasse sealant.

This way I clean and add more acrylic sealant every time.

Been years since I last nanosponge it and used the cleaner AIO. The paint is till smooth as silk. Plus I haven't washed it in years either.

The car pretty much gets wiped down after every drive. It is not a DD.

Zaino z-8 has worked great for me. Tried Meguiars ultimate fast finish. Looked great but does not last as long as z-8 on my dd.
