Car wash?
I am planning on Zaino'ing my car but won't have time to do so for a couple weeks. In the meantime I got caught in some rain and wanted to wash my car. Am I best off using Dawn like I see people reccomending for a Zaino pre-wash? Or should I use something else since I won't be doing the Zaino for a bit?

Re: Car wash? (kluczenk)
Klu,
Dawn will remove old wax, crud and silicones. Use it for that purpose only. It's not meant to be used on a regular or semi-regular basis.
If you already have the Zaino car wash, use it! It's a great wash and I've talked to non-Zaino users (yes, there are some still out there) who love the Zaino car wash.
Otherwise, just use a regular car wash product until you're ready to do the Zaino polish treatment.
Hope this helps.

Re: Car wash? (74_LS-4)
When washing (either wish Zaino wash or another brand) what do most people use as a washing device (natural sponge, artificial sponge, towel, brush, wash mitt, etc)? I have always used natural sponges, but was curious what people used as I am quite the novice detailer.

Sponges can scratch your car, use them on your wheels and tires but not the paint. Your better off using a cotton wash mitt, much less chance of scratching your finish. :)
