Z06 Detail!
Just finished with full paint correction and ceramic coating application to paint wheels and calipers for a good customer of mine!
Thought I would share. Please let me know if there are any questions on the process.

Hand wash, Iron X for ferrous paint decontamination, clay barred for mechanical decon.
Two stage polish, compounded with Rupes Mille with MF pad and M105, (Vette Paint is on the harder side), polished with CarPro pad and Essence.
Waited for Essence to dry then Coated with CarPro UK.
Let me know if I can answer any other questions for you?
Thanks, Seth.

Wheels were done with a similar process except I used UK and Reload for them.

Excellent job!!! I really miss my wheels being the low milage, still in great shape version they were. Amazing how well you got those barrels looking!!!! Mine have too many miles to get back to that. Paint looks great, too.

SSTG, I have new to me Inferno Orange 2012 Grand Sport in overall great condition....
I very recently polished with Meg 105 / Lake Country Orange Pad on PC 7424XP orbital.
I have several areas (Front bumper, Front Fender behind tire) where under Halogen shop light I can still
see Clear Coat Damage. I also used a Yellow Pad with Meg 100.
The damage I see under intense light, most people wont see and would never care.
I'm fearful to use 2500 wet paper. I do have Meg Microfibre Pad but didnt try that.
Should I just live with it and move on.
I did use Meg 205 on White Pad after 105 and was going to now apply NiteFire Wet Diamond Sealant
and ????? reasonably priced Wax
Thanks
If I do go with the CarPro Ceramic Coating where how do I learn how to prep for it

Quick question about CarPro on the wheels. If you have a matte finish wheel, will a coat or two of CarPro give it a gloss finish? I've been considering this but haven't been in a huge rush because I have the carbon brakes and don't suffer from brake dust but this would prevent road grime from attaching itself to the wheel. My only concern has been the potential for change in appearance, as I really like the matte black wheels. Appreciate your input.
Thanks,
Mike
