Default Thin tire wheel barrel brush

I have searched for a good amount of time and have come up empty.

What I am looking for is a flat "working end", with a synthetic like leather cover over the the handle rod that a microfiber cover slips over.

I picked one up years ago and am unable to find the same tool. The auto store doesn't carry it anymore and nobody remembers it.

It works well cleaning between the brake calipers and the rim barrel on the C6.

Everything I come across doesn't fit between the brake caliper enabling cleaning the barrel.

I like the microfiber cover because it cleaned well with just some detail spray.

I have a brush with nylon type bristle's that fits but it isn't as thorough cleaning.

The smaller of the 2 "Incrediblebrush" appears to be to thick, as advertised in a video. But basically what I am looking for just thinner.

You aren't talking about "Wheel Woolies", right?

Correct not what I am looking for.

Flat micro fiber cover over thin leather like pad covering wire stick with handle, to fit between brake caliper and wheel barrel.

Had my wheels including barrels ceramic coated and why did I wait so long. Dust and grit bare sticks and a simple spray off and that's all it takes. $50 a wheel was well worth it to me. Wow!

$50 will get you an entire bottle of McKee's37 Wheel Coating, which is a higher-content ceramic coating specifically for wheels. Easy to apply. Can probably do 2 or 3 cars with the bottle. Just an FYI so you can save a lot of money next time around!

I had given it some thought of doing it myself but they were brand new wheels and really busy at the time and didn't want to risk doing something wrong and the new shoes so I just dropped them off and picked up after work after the applied Quartz Ceramic Pro.

I have a Garage Queen and its winter stored November - May, so not sure when I will need to do them again but will look into the McKee's37 and try them on my wife's car. Thanks for the recommendation!

Not sure this will fit between the caliper and barrel on the C6.

Looks nice but expensive.

I have Wilwood 6-piston calipers that are about the same size as C6Z calipers. I can get my SpeedMaster wheel brush between the calipers and my wheels. Do you have less clearance than this picture?

I love this thing. I actually used it tonight. The pad compound that came with my Wilwoods dusts like crazy. I am always cleaning my wheels. Makes it SO easy when you have the right tools!

hard to tell but I believe I have less and more than likely not more clearance.

Thanks I already have this tool and use it. I spray my detailer spay on it and it does get past the caliper which is my problem with others.

In that it is not a consistent surface it can leave some streaks but so far it is the best tool for entire barrel coverage.

Cleans easily too after use.

Looking for the tool I original purchased a few years ago and it seems to have disappeared.

Was hoping somebody would have used it to and led me to getting it.

Just a flat leather like material ( maybe 2 inches wide) over a thin wand with microfiber slip cover. It was washable and was very good at complete coverage of the barrel with no streaks.

I used to use a ultra-thin cleaning wand I picked up at Target in the household cleaning section. It was a wood handle with a wire-frame wand about 18" long that a microfiber sleeve fit over. It fit between the caliper and wheel with no problem. It hasn't been sold in ages but you can still find similar things on the internet.

For example:

I agree, I bought the smaller brush which works perfect for the smaller/tighter front wheels and of course the larger for rear wheels. I'm guessing the op is use a spray type detailed and not a wheel cleaner. I've found the wheel cleaner so much easier but understand as the cars don't always need washed after driving. These brushes would probably not be what you are looking for if not using wheel cleaner

It actually works fairly well with detail spray, but remember I clean them often with only very light dust/brake dust showing.

The brush I speak of having prior did a bette job though.'
I ordered one from Simplygoodstuff site and am still waiting for confirmation of shipping, starting to worry.

This is the closet to being what I previously used and thanks to PCMusicGUY for the link.
