I was just laughing at the ridiculous marketing claim. I think it is great that it works well for you! I appreciate the offer to try it, but I am already stocked up. "Speed Demon" is simply detail spray infused with a small amount of carnauba wax. I have a few bottles of Adam's and Jax Wax detail spray that use a similar formula.

California Dusters will cause significant marring in your vehicles finish. They are easy to use but are not worth the cost of repair to send the car to a professional to have a 15-20 hour paint correction performed. I also would not recommend wiping the car down with any quick detailer and microfiber. Take a minute think about this, DIRT PARTICLE MANAGEMENT, dust, dirt, debris on the surface and then drug into the clear coat during a wipe will cause marring. I would suggest this simple and easy method. Rinse and Blow Dry. Do not do this in direct sunlight and I hope your not using well water as the minerals from the well water or your county water sprayed in direct sunlight will leave mineral deposits. The less you touch it the more perfect you can keep it, but do not neglect it.

Rinse and Blow Dry.
This can't be done at car shows. What would you recommend for removing dust from a vehicle periodically throughout a long day outdoors? I am currently using a strong dilution of Wolfgang Uber Rinseless Wash and distilled water in a spray bottle, along with Rag Company 800gsm towels. I mist the panels and the towels, and wipe the car like I would any other time I use a waterless wash. I haven't noticed any damage from this method, but I am always open to suggestions to better my methods.

I completely agree with this. When I first bought my vette, I used to do a "detailer spray" wipe down after each time I drove it. After a few weeks of doing this, I noticed I did more harm than good but introducing swirls which I then had to subsequently buff off with a buffer.

I disagree. Reasonable care with a California Duster will not harm your paint. If you're not too smart, it will hurt your paint.

The California duster will not harm your paint IF you use it correctly.

For dust, I use Chadwick's TriplePlay on non-coated cars.

For dust on coated cars, I mix Carpro Reload, Carpro Ech2O, and distilled water in a 1:1:14 ratio and use that like a detail spray.

@Ron Sjostrom I cannot believe you mentioned this. As a matter of fact this past weekend at a local Corvette show I had a gentleman tell me he uses a Swiffer Duster and that was the first I had ever heard of such a thing.

Yeah, I can't believe a car enthusiast would actually use that. It's like people hate their cars. LOL

Hey those of you who go the waterless wash route, how do clean your wheels?

TIA

After using detail spray (see my prior post) to wipe down the car, I use the microfiber towel I used on the car to wipe down the wheels. The towel is then thrown in the garbage. I don't clean/wash the towels because they're cheap (package of 36 for $15+/- at Costco).

I'm using Chadwicks TriplePlay on the wheels - spray it a little heavier than normal, let it dwell a few minutes, and then wipe with a m/f towel, buff again with a different m/f towel. These towels are marked so after washing, they are only used on wheels.
