Default What would cause this to happen to a pad???


I was cleaning a set of 5 spoke aluminum wheels that I picked up.

That is exactly what happened. You can buy vented backing disks for your DA that will eliminate the issue. All my DA's have the vented backing plates and no more pad damage.
