Ceramic Coating for Powder Coated Wheels
So I may be getting some new powder coated wheel and would like to avoid the hassle of waxing/sealing that I have been doing with Rejex on my factory painted wheels.
One of the vendors is offering free ceramic coating with purchase. If I don't go this route what is a simple and inexpensive ceramic that I could apply myself.
Someone told me that you don't even need ceramic coating over powder coated wheels.
Some advise would be appreciated.
Thanks

I have used various waxes and sealers on wheels for years. If you want to go ceramic I would think any good ceramic coating would work just fine. The secret to keeping the wheels in great shape is two fold, ceramic brake pads and keeping the wheels clean at all times. Hope that helps.

Got you covered on this one. One of our dealers is easily one of the highest regarded detailers in the country so I wanted to learn as much as I can from them about keeping my car clean, and of course to be more knowledgeable on ceramic coatings because as you would imagine a wheel manufacturer is going to get a lot of questions about these products.
First and foremost, if you care about keeping your wheels clean, this section of their website is a goldmine - https://www.esotericcarcare.com/wheel-care/
Personally I went with their bundled kits with everything you need to get the wheels ceramic coated. You've got your prep spray to clean them off before coating, you've got your applicator pad and a towel as well as a wheel cleaner (Gyeon Iron I recommend for wheel cleaners), and of course the Kamikaze Stance Rim Coat (aka the actual coating). Check the video, very straight forward and easy to use - https://www.esotericcarcare.com/kami...-coat-pro-kit/
Here's another option to consider as well but this isn't a kit, this is just the ceramic coating - https://www.esotericcarcare.com/gyeon-q2-rim/

And I'm hoping the ceramic coating will also help break dust from sticking and ease the cleaning process.

This would be for brand new wheels so hopefully I can just apply the ceramic.

Love C5! Put it on my chrome wheels and also my track wheels. The heavy brake dust from the track pads (Hawk HP+) didn't seem to really stick to the wheel and cleaning them after the event was a breeze. And cleaning the nice chrome set is super easy as well since it seems like the dirt doesn't stick and keeps the wheel shiny longer between washes. I plan on doing my black truck wheels over the winter once I correct them. Just make sure you prep them really well. I used Menzurna Control Cleaner twice before the application of C5 to clean the wheels. Make sure you get into all the corners really good to make sure all the old oils/etc are cleaned and when applying the C5 so the brake dust doesn't harm the wheel. I'd recommend doing them off the car so you can get the insides as well. When washing the wheels I just use the same soap (CarPro Reset) as I use to wash the car with the ceramic coating, different bucket of course.
