Congrats on your new Vette!
Our new 9H Ceramic Spray would be a great choice, easy to apply and remove and it shines like crazy.

I thought I read where Adam's ceramic spray is back ordered for 2-4 weeks? Waiting till spring to order mine so it doesn't freeze during shipping. Once you get your black Z coated you can't beat Adam's H20 G&G and Ceramic Boost combined
for maintenance. You'd be hard pressed to beat the shine with these 2 products. I own 2 black cars and the shine is insane. Heres an example of them on my hood.

Paint is paint so in the polish area, one will work as good as another regardless of color. As for what ya put on top, can go a variety of ways. Have heard some good things regarding Adams but too new to have any real world info. A similar 'ceramic-lite' product is Gyeon CanCoat; many have exceeded a year merely by maintaining with Gyeon Bathe+ (an SiO2 infused shampoo). Great candy-gloss and self cleaning water behavior.
Should you dip into ceramics, ignore all the 'h' hardness claims, it's largely marketing nonsense. Hardness levels are measured by the 'pencil test' meaning 9h is the hardest graded pencil that will scratch the surface. As all pencils are made out of graphite, which has the equivalent mineral hardness of your fingernail, a 9h coating will be no harder than that. Even the vaunted "10h hardness" coatings can be scratched by your fingernail or a dirty cotton towel. Many confuse the coating hardness levels (Pencil Test) with the Mohs Mineral Scale of hardness, on which 9h is one step down from diamond (10h). While some ceramics *may* very, very slightly protect from very light, wash induced marring, that's about as good as it gets.
Main benefits of ceramics are resistance to environmental contamination (bird bombs, for one) and greater self-cleaning characteristics. Since moving to ceramic/quartz/glass coatings, our black cars are much easier to take care of.
