Default 303 Protectant how many of you use this in your engine compartment?

Primarily in C-6 Corvettes from 2005 to 2013 to protect rubber hoses, plastic parts, or any other areas of the engine?
Is it effective?

C5 here, but 303 Aerospace is what I use on every plastic and rubber component of the car. For areas deeper in the engine compartment, I use an aerosol protectant to treat everything I can't reach by hand.

I have used 303 for years...like, a lot of years...and like FYRARMS, I use it on all plastic and rubber on the car. In answer to your question, I use 303 on any plastic or rubber under the hood, for sure. It is an excellent protectant and gives a natural looking finish/result. What I mean by that is perhaps best illustrated when used on tires. When you use 303 on tires, it leaves your tires just a nice deep natural looking black with no shine or gloss or oily appearance (this is one of the things I really like about 303) and lasts a long time. It will do the same for any rubber or plastic under the hood. As a bonus, it is actually protecting whatever you apply it to, it is not just a cosmetic appearance enhancement.

I'll agree that 303 Aerospace Protectent is really good on any of the materials FYRARMS calls out and it's my go-to for underhood as well as many other places.

I go one step beyond and put the 303 in Spray bottles (available almost anywhere for a buck or two).

IF you want to go the purely aerosol route there are several products however I'm fond of Stoner's More Shine. It has a slightly more glossy appearance than does 303. For the engine compartment that doesn't bother me that much.

This Meguiar's spray is awesome. It has an adjustable spray tip, leaves a dark satin sheen, overspray wipes off paint with a MF towel, and dries to the touch in a minute. I use it to coat my wheel well liners in 2 seconds, and to do the fender coves in 1 second. I use it on the front air dam, too. I liked it so much the first time I used it that I went right back on Autogeek and ordered a second can.

"C-Magic" is an underhood plastic enhancer that is sold at the Corvette Store at the National Corvette Museum. I picked up a bottle the last time I visited the Museum and have used it ever since. Leaves a nice matte finish, on underhood plastics like the engine cover. Basically leaves them looking like new. Nice product.

I still use 303 Aerospace Protectant on rubber hoses and tires.

You won't. It is one of their professional line products. I get all my Meguiar's pro line stuff from Autogeek and Detailed Image (whoever is running the best sale at the time). The pro stuff is great, and gallons of product are an amazing bargain. Many are dilutable as well, and make a LOT of product. I have enough glass cleaner and all purpose cleaner to last me a lifetime. LOL! I use all these:

D101 All Purpose Cleaner
D113 Citrus Blast Wash & Wax
D120 Glass Cleaner
D155 Last Touch Detail Spray
D156 Synthetic X-Press Spray Wax
D166 Ultra Polishing Wax
D170 Hyper Dressing
D4510 Plastic & Vinyl Coating
