Product review: Adam's Polishes "Slick & Slide"
*THIS SPOT RESERVED*
I saw Adam's new product video in my YouTube feed, so I took advantage of their current 4th of July sale and snagged a bottle. I love shine-enhancing topper sprays, and this one seems like it might be fun. Sounds like it is the love child of their Detail Spray and their H2O Guard & Gloss, but with even more slickness and gloss. Might be a winner! I will keep you guys posted, as I plan on trying it out as soon as it arrives. Stay tuned...

I'm guessing it is going to be their take on Beadmaker. And that's no knock on either product. I love Beadmaker, and Adam's makes some solid products.
With all due respect, I'd be willing to suggest that the good people at Adam's have got to be tired of hearing what a game changer BM has been and they'd like to capture more market share from that sector of the market. I know if I was a manufacturer that's what I'd be looking to do...offer a product as compelling as BM so it's not the only default "go to" product that so many have made it.
"Cross-linking Polymer Technology " is what they are talking about - and from the back of the bottle it says something like the polymers cross link and cure after application to create slickness and low surface tension.
To me that sounds like what my understanding of the BM chemistry is and how it feels immediately and after a 1-2 hour cure time.
Again, as I understand the chemistry, I'm pretty sure BM is actually a monomer and when it comes in contact and bonds (cross linking) with the clear coat turns into a proper polymer and slickness and gloss ensue almost immediately. As we all know, after an hour or two, its super slick and then the next day, its crazy slick and glossy.
Hey, if I'm wrong I'll shut up 'cause I'm no chemist and I've never played on on TV either!
Point being, from the wording on the Adam's bottle, and the name, that is the first thing that crossed my mind.
I suspect inevitably, and even if not apples to apples, comparisons will be made...couch cough wink wink @FYRARMS
Congrats to Adam's on what is likely to be another successful and solid product.

Can't wait for your review ( as always ). It looks tempting if I didn't just purchase a few months ago, 2 gal of old formula H2O Guard & Gloss on clearance for $25 / gal. I will not throw out older formulas when something new comes out. I have always liked Adams Products and Adam himself is a nice guy, met him a couple of times at Carlise.

I would bet money on it!
I would ask Adam's about that first. While many products "can" be used on coatings, they don't always perform well. Some hinder the properties of the coating, too.
I'd assume it can be used on a C coated finish?
