Default DR questions??

I have check this forum and since I haven't found what I wanted I figured I would ask..

I have a 01 C5 with the stock wheels.. my plan is to upgrade the wheels and use my stock for drag racing...

What type of DR's are you guys running.. I want to know name brand...width..where you go them... do you like them/hate them.. everything...and is any one running slicks when the race and the same questions apply..

BFG 295/18 will fit your stock wheels, they are a popular DR. They can be purchased from Discount Tire....good luck.

I have BFG's and like them. For you I think slicks are over kill and you would have to run 16" wheels. I don't think they make them in 17" or 18" but other guys will jump in here and you'll get plenty of info.

are you guys just running the Drag Radial Comp T/A or is anyone running the g-Force T/A Drag Radial.. I was just wondering the difference...

Running the g-Force T/A Drag Radial (tread pattern is different)
in a 275/35/18 on the 00' vert. 1.72 60' nice and will fit on OEM wheels

Running the g-Force T/A Drag Radial in a 345/30/18 on the 97'. 1.52 60'
both have this tread pattern and hook like a ****

I have not used the Comp TA, but folks who have liked either. Maybe someone will chime in and be able to compare both on the same car
