I see that's dated 2004. Wonder if it was retracted?

Why would you be able to run lower et's with a stock vert compared to a modified vert? I would like to run a few passes to get used to the clutch. What happens if I run a bit quicker than the the track rules?

You would think so since it is in the rule book....but....any track may supercede the rule book at any time...I have heard of tracks not allowing M rated helmets for cars...

I see your sig says "auxilliary hardtop". If this is the case and you have the top on at the track, I believe you'll be held to the same rules as coupes (ie. no cage required unless below 11.50).

It amazes me that people are looking for ways to cheap out on safety equipment! Buy the SA helmet - it is fabricated to take multiple hits - like on a roll bar - as compared to a M helmet that is designed to take 1 impact - then skid or slide. The SA will also have fire protection in the lining.
As for roll bar or no roll bar - i guess it's your life - you make the call. honestly a good roll cage, helmet and firesuits are cheap in comparison to what you pay for the car and the enhancers, I guess I've seen one to many bad things happen - for me, I won't race a car without a roll bar, at least 5 points belts, - and never without the proper helmet and fire suit - because i know sooner or later someone or something will screw up or go blamo, and even if it's not my fault - my health or even my life will be on the line. And i will walk away!

carl "yeah i've been called the safety **** - whats your point? " Johansson

ppl will spend 10s of thousands on HP and getting IT to the ground. But whine and moan about $500 for a good helmet and safety gear.
