For those who have installed the solid rear end system from Carroll's Rod and Racecraft,
I am curious how large of a wheel and tire combination you have been able to install. If you have photos of the rear I would appreciate it if you posted a couple. I spoke with Bob Carroll a couple of times and he is a super nice guy and I am seriously considering buying his package instead of building my own. Thanks!

I'm not running running Boddy's setup, but something similar. The rear end is not the issue, it's the distance between the frame and the fender well. The 4-link might narrow the space slightly, but not much. I run a 325x50x15 which i also ran with the IRS. Certain tires (like mine) will stick out from under the fender slightly, so I use Grandsport flares to keep the tire covered. A 28x10.5 slick will fit, the 11.5 might need to flares. The Ws wont fit. I assume you could use a narrower and taller (30") tire as well. My tires are pretty big, but if you're plans include a huge tire, you're going to have to altering the frame.

If you run the weld wheels you need a 71/2 back spacing a 28 inch tire and 10 1/2 wide is max you can install under the car,you run the MT slicks ,if you use the DR you can put a 335 with no problem.Don't worry about the width of the tire that is why you are installing the 4 link ,the tires will grip even at a bad track.Oh on the MT Drag Slicks you have to make sure you buy the MT with the (S) for stiff side wall or the wheel will buckel under and hit the wheel .I have made all the mistakes
If you want the car to stay on the ground in the front you have to install QA1's and start at 5 clicks in you run 700 hp to 1 k like I was.
