The fastest 23 degree headed Vette that I'm aware of is Greg Eaton's..
His best naturally aspirated C3 ran the following:

1.3582 60

3.8289 330

5.9133 1/8 mile @ 119.21MPH

7.7183 1000

9.2490 ¼ mile @ 150.35 MPH

He runs mid 8's on spray.. maybe low 8's the next time out...

Here's what I know about his setup.. Hope that he'll chime in and post details..

Car/year.......................1970 Vette Coupe
Motor type/size..............23 degree headed 427 SBC
Suspension....................Don't know details but he runs Tom's 12-bolt IRS with spool
Tires............................not sure what he ran on that run
Approx. raceweight.........not sure
Transmission type...........2-speed Powerglide - automatic
DA if known...................don't know
Track...........................Houston, I believe..
ET and mph...................9.90@136.42

Your 9.19 might be the fastest naturally aspirated pass on a C3 I.R.S. car.. However, Greg Eaton ran 8.50's @ 161, so he does have the fastest I.R.S. C3 that I know of.

Well, he e-mailed me when he ran 9.24 on engine which was his best so far.. That has been only a couple of weeks ago..
His car and dedication to I.R.S. racing has been a great inspiration for me to try to push the I.R.S. as far as possible..
