Into the 10s
Congrats go out to Sheila Murchan who made I believe her first ten second pass this past Sat. While we were running our regular challenge races, Shiela was in the test n tune lanes doing her thing. I did hear the announcer mention that she was hooking too with the big tires. The car has gone through some changes and she will no doubt be contender in the 11.50 next year. Goodluck Sheila......

I know, not anything earth-shattering, but "old school" took me from 15.7's last season to here - might be brief, but we'll savor the flavor for now!
(hopeful to qualify for 11.5 class on regular basis! )

Major changes....but they might be temps. Testing a motor my crew chief had built (wrist pin on one of my cylinders scored it's way through to water jacket.. ..under repair though, & should be stronger - had several 11's before she gave up the ghost). Some other improvements to help take load off/maximize power use; all in all, she's a different [& better ] ride - regardless of motor. Still in test mode pretty much, but will try & get as much comp time as possible {for the driver too!! }
This motor is awesome....still has to see a dyno, but VERY conservatively in excess of 450 hp

Man, you have come leaps and bounds!! Excellent progress! Must feel like a mack truck is rear ending you on a 10 second launch! Still streetable?
Enjoy!!! The only downside to more power(and I don't care who say's what) is more breakage. Accept that and you'll be fine! Take care.
