don't let Dave"LoneWolf" Budendorf fool you he cuts a light and runs the number and can pick off anybody in the challenge at any time...he got there late one day and I was about to get my first, first round bye ever and he comes around the wall with no time shot and if not for a very stout package he almost out me out.congrats Dave long overdue in my opinion....HEY KILLAH ...NICE...

What a day it was. Thanks for all the kind words. The money will be going into the Mustang. I broke the trans while coming out of the burnout today in the semi finals of the 10.00. It would have been an easy win. The imports in the 10.00 were not running to close to the 10.00 index. Round before I was 10.010.
Dave gave me a run for my money just as everyone else did. I watched Jerry's video frame by frame and I was able to see I crossed by a fender. In the car it appeared to be a half of a fender against Dave. If you listen closely, you can hear me hitting the throttle repeatedly as if I was hitting the rev limiter to tighten it up. What a great day, each pass I had to work extra hard.
I must thank ECS for what I have and what is has done for me. I would have ran 3 consecutive 11.44 passes if I did not lift.

Can't wait till next year.

I'm ok with it, but it might be little awkward for him to come to us for a winning blower package.

I just spit my coffee out. OMG, that was funny. I will have something to smile about while removing the trans from the Mustang.

Hey, I never claimed to be one of the 'cool' 11.50 guys LOL.
Besides, a blower (and running the 10.50 class of course) would also mean installing a roll bar and I'm just not looking to go there at this point. But I am pretty confident that a good blower kit could likely get me into the 9s without much else done to the car.

Yes, just a little LOL. But hey, a proven package is a proven package and daily drivable blower cars like Shawn's and Artie's do impress me.

Did you break your rear or trans? I was clearing out the garage for the Mustang and it took 5 hours. Funny how I am moving stuff around, then I am sweeping, cleaning out the attic, rearranging everything..... Neighbors must have thought I was moving, everything in the garage was in the driveway. Now the Mustang is up on jack stands. Trans out tom and then will ship it to Michigan on Wed.

I wonder if I could have raced in reverse? No forward gears are working but reverse works great.

Maybe we can squeeze both trans in one box. I built a box for the trans. Looks like a mini coffin.
Got

OK, I just read the other post and I now know it was not the rear. I am a little behind here.

---Oh boy here we go...

Now its going to be who's a bigger blow hard, Doug or Julio...
My money is on Doug!

Marc you get yourself in more trouble trying to get people to leave 11.50 and go to 10.50.

Really though, you should step up your program, your not a rookie anymore.

Dude, I could do this for another three seasons and I'd still feel like a rookie LOL.
Based on my results this year, I still have no idea how the hell I made it to the finals in the last Pro 11.50 of 2009 LOL.

I never got Doug to step up the tune as I couldn't run it anywhere.
