But I'm not sure.
Thanks. If I can make it I'll call the track before heading down.

I'd race but got family in from Arizona. I may do Gamblers on Tues just to see how Atco is.
Tues. night Gamblers is usually a really tough field. Full electronics is allowed so you have to deal with the box racers (altho probably not too many this time of year) and the Atco points regulars.

I have yet to go a round in gamblers despite some decent packages...for a footbraker.

ah, thanks.. that's some food for thought. I couldn't find much info on Atco's site while browsing around.

I went last year and it was the most annoying day at the track I ever had. All I heard all day were turbo Toyota Corollas and Honda hatches, in neutral in the parking lot, bumping up against their rev limiters

Yeah I too find that SO annoying, I know some of the rotaries are doing it for legitimate purposes but most of them are probably only doing it because "it sounds cool" ...that is among the few reasons why I won't be attending either.

Whats so wrong with that.... I'm going to try it on my Vette next week at E Town....

I plan on putting it in "N" and holding it on the limiter for 30 sec....you ask "WHY" ... well if you ain't smart enough I'll tell ya...

Its a Hi Po Engine.. & I have to clear the plugs before each run!!

& that means holding it on the limiter for 30 sec... I can't give away my tuners name or shop, but all I can do is tell you the location of his shop...

1320 "La Hoya St" Havana Cuba !! and YES I paid the air freight to transport my car back & forth...

................. But you just wait and see how well it runs after I "Clear/Clean the plugs for 30 sec. @ 6500 RPM !! No that smash sound was NOT the valves

Perhaps, but all of the ear plugs in the world aren't going to prevent ya from getting slammed into by a runaway ricer in the pits/staging lanes and they CERTAINLY won't keep some of those dudes from oiling down the track.
