I miss the old Gasser's too ! There is talk about forming a Nostalgia Gasser Club here in Texas to put on races !
Would Complement the other three Nostalgia Racing groups already racing !

While you are watching this video take note of the photographer credit on many of the pictures shown on the bottom left corner of the photo; several of the credits are given to Jay Lamka. I knew Jay. He passed away a few years ago. He was a founding member of Corvette-Troy, a corvette club based outside of Dayton, Ohio. Jay was also the editor of Blue Bars magizine the quarterly publication for members of the National Council of Corvette Clubs (NCCC). Jay was a great guy and totally crazy about Corvettes. At one time he owned a '67 Corvette Coupe called the "Lots'a Luck Special". Racing this Corvette he was the National Drags Record Holder in Group II B under the NCCC drag racing rules. He would attend the NHRA Nationals in Indianapolis every Labor Day Weekend and take hundreds of drag racing photos mainly of Corvettes. He was a good photographer and had his photos appear in many various national and regional publications. It was good to see his name in the credits of many of these photos. He was a good friend and a big support of drag racing Corvettes.
