Did I break the completely stock LS3 M6 record?

Believe it or not, no, I have seen slower LOL.
Keep at it though, that car can go high 11s bone stock this time of year with good track prep and some skilled driving.

Yes, you broke the record...My almost stock 93 is faster than that....
You need to work on your 60 foot times and the ET's will come WAY down. Drag racing a stick car is more art then science, practice makes perfect.
I make notes on the back of my time slips for launch RPM, what I did, how it felt, engine coolant temp just before the pass, etc...any info that may make me more consistent and faster.
FYI, last weekend I ran a brand new Subaru WRX two times, his 60's where comparable to yours (WRX is all-wheel drive), he only ran a 14.5 and a 14.8 to my 13.5X. My 60's are around 2.0X currently and need to go lower. I'm shooting for consistent low 13's from a almost stock LT1 ZF6 car. I hope to push high 12's on a good day with this...maybe... It has been done before.
Taking .1 off your 60 is worth about 1.5-2 tenths on the ET. So a 2.0 60 should put you in the mid 12's or so. High 11's are very possible as LS1LT1 noted, and I'm in agreement with.
Practice, practice, practice...
Another tip: if this is a Test N' Tune, don't worry about getting a good R/T, forget the lights. Just concentrate on driving. Leave whenever you want to, you still get a valid timed run. Once you perfect the driving then worry about R/T's. I'm still learning too, I only got 30 or so passes on my car...we all are still learning regardless of seat time.

I raced my gto (about 40 passes) but it was an auto and had a 150 shot. I'm not going back until I have drag radials out back. Racing on street tires isn't fun.
I was hoping the vette didn't suffer wheel hop like my gto did before I switched it to an auto. When I was running 2nd gear would wheel hop really bad. Anyone make a kit to eliminate this like new shafts or is drag bags good enough?
PS, my runs had a DA of -500 which makes it even worse

The drag radials might hurt if they hook TOO hard and/or if you get wheel hop. I've seen more than one C5 Z06 snap a half shaft at the line, no C6's however. Then again I've seen way more C5's run than C6's so...those I have saw did ok. Manuals tend to have more problems with half shaft durability than autos. Just my observations.

My gto was a manual and suffered from wheel hop. but I had it switched to an auto and it never did it after that. I'm deathly affraid of wheel hop. I hope sticker tires will help. And I won't be doing any 4k clutch dumps though. Maybe 2k but nothing higher. I'm not trying to break any records so I'll take it easy launching.

I think "dumping" the clutch might be issue. I never do that.
Read Ranger's tips they are probably just what your C6 needs.

A lot C4 guys have had good success stock with off idle launches. (Mr. Mojo being one) I'm going to try that next. I've been launching at 5K with NO wheel spin only slipping clutch for maybe 10-20 feet at most. So far 2.0X 60 foots but I'm going to try off idle less clutch wear and tear.
