Default Ratcheting Shifter made in the USA for C4 Corvettes

Please check out the Ratcheting Shifter that I had made for my 86 corvette. I sent him the shifter console glove box assembly and the shifter to see which one of his shifter could be made to fit into the space. I wanted one like this

But there was not enough space in the tunnel area to fit that shifter.
So he redesigned one that would work in the limited space. If there was more space he would have added another gate so it would be able to go from First to Park without ratcheting.

Here is the video

In the video of the C4 unit it looks like you have to hold the lever in reverse, is that accurate? Where is this person from and how do you get intouch with them?

There is no lever for the C4 shifter. Here is his website

The lever I am referring to is the gear shift arm/lever. In the video of the C4 unit you can see he appears to hold it in the reverse gate and as soon as he lets it go it springs back to neutral.

It stays in reverse just like the other gears, he is just showing the difference between other ratcheting shifters and his. If you check out his other videos, he has a thing about going neutral/reverse/drive and how his shifter is like a factory shifter when it comes to changing between those gears for parking/rock crawling. To his point that is a problem with all of the other ratcheting shifters.

Base sits about an inch too high for console, doing some measurement, Brian will modify it according to my measurement. I will get to it this weekend I hope, been working busy with other stuff.
