2016 WannaGoFast 1/2mi Hot Springs VA?
**I posted a duplicate of this in Southest Regional... can someone delete it?**
Hey guys! I'm really thinking about signing up for the Hot Springs event in May 2016, but I'm curious... I've seen many videos from these events and I feel like my car wouldn't have a snowball's chance in hell against even the lowest power cars there. I'm pushing 440whp/406tq and she'll trap 120mph in the 1/4mi. I know it's technically just a trap speed event, but would it even make sense for me to pay $225 a day just to see how fast she'll go? Let's discuss...

If you have $225 to spend, then do it and have fun. Saw a guy last year running a stock Camry doing 90's and having fun. Unless you are pushing 1500+ hp, you aren't going to win, but not many have those kinds of funds.

That's a good thought. In my accidental duplicate of this thread, someone mentioned spending that money on an HPDE event. It makes a lot of sense, so I think I'll pass on the 1/2mile crap for now. It doesn't mean I won't spectate though!
