Default Experience between 28" and 26" drag radials on 08 Z06

I just picked up a Drag Pac for my 08 Z. Its a 17/18 CCW Classics setup. It came with 345/30/18 M&H Drag radials that measure out at 28". Im running a stock gear so was wondering if anyone has gone from a 28" to a 26" drag radial setup that has experience on how much..if any that the 28s hurt. I have a guy that will buy the tires and I'm Looking at the 315 hoosiers. I know they are 10 lbs lighter than these tires so that would also be a plus. Ie been 10.61@133.2 on stock size 18/19" r888s and hoping these pick me up a bit

Thanks guys. I love the look of the rear meats but these are for function not to be pretty.

Itll have better gearing on the 315 hoosier. Better gearing, lighter. Itll go faster.

315 hoosiers will be significantly better. Those big dragster tires will really slow you down.
