Default Hide Your Kids, Hide Your Wife From This C7 Corvette!

Once this evil C7 Corvette’s tires are nice and warm, it doesn’t even break a sweat covering the eighth-mile in just 4.2 seconds at speeds exceeding 175 mph.

FYI
-If you do a search on this car it is in the 3500 HP range, and the times listed in this video are 1/8 times. This car would run mid 6's in the 1/4.

Something tells me that isn't a "Corvette". More like a fiberglass representation of a Corvette, wrapped around a tubular frame, with a big block (500+ CI) motor running on alcohol. Pretty cool looking though :-)

Not even remotely close to 300mph.

That said, this is an awesome car. He's run 3.98 I believe. He had the record for OL10.5, but a V6 car from the Al Anabi camp just ran a 3.89 over in Quatar.

If you're in the South Georgia area next month, go to the Lights Out race at SGMP and I'm pretty sure you'll see this car do some amazing things.

You guys certainly have a valid point. There is a definite cool factor of a corvette with crazy power going fast down the track, but...

In my opinion, it's more impressive when you have guys like Mark Carlyle running 6.5x, Pizza Joe running 7.1x, Fran running 7.7x, Jay running 8.2x, Doug and Danny running 8.5x and a host of others in "real" corvettes. And all with still with the IRS.
